“Let Them” Write Poetry, hosted by Mish.
Sorry I missed the link up!

Let them talk about me when I leave the room ….
let me tend to the life I’m still building.
Let them cancel plans and offer thin excuses ….
let me enjoy the quiet of a night reclaimed.
Let them grow in a direction I don’t understand ….
let me root deeper where I’m already planted.
Let them choose not to forgive me ….
let me forgive myself anyway, and move on.
Let them be right, just this once, just this way ….
let me be the one who can say so out loud.
Let them sit with what they said to me ….
let me stop rethinking it at 2 a.m.
Let them go the way all things eventually do ….
let me be grateful I was there at all.
Let them. Let me. Let go.

Thank you, my friend. I love this song and after doing some research, I learned it is AI generated! 🎶

Yes, let them talk, and just as well I took no notice, then knowingly and lovingly followed the path where my heart was meant to go … oh, and thank you the lovely song my friend …

Thanks very much, my dear friend; that song by Pamela fit perfectly. Thank you for your musical interlude. Don’t you just love Manchester Orchestra? 💙 🎶
