Just a quick note to say “thanks” to all of you for your good wishes and words of support and encouragement for this morning’s procedure. All went very well; I’m now home resting and checking out WP. Hopefully, in a few days, I’ll start feeling some much needed pain relief from the epidural. It’s good to be home knowing this is behind me. Thanks, friends!

Hi Everyone,
I currently have no internet service due to damage to our cable lines outside the house. At the moment I am at my friend’s house using her connection. I will not be able to publish posts until Monday, at the earliest, when Optimum is scheduled to make repairs. I’m taking this time to publish any posts that require Mr. Linky so I don’t miss the deadlines. All other posts will have to wait and if I miss any deadlines, so be it. I’ll be back in touch ASAP. Back home and dictating this quick post.
Surgery was a big deal. The tendon had re-ruptured so rather than just try to stitch it back together, the surgeon took a section of tendon from my pointer finger for the repair. He also removed the scar tissue buildup. I’m in a honkin’ bandage until Monday when I get fitted for a custom splint.
I’ll be resting today, maybe back tomorrow. I have posts scheduled, but I don’t know if I will comment on anything until I’m feeling better. Thanks, everyone, for your good wishes. See you soon.

This is an oldie, published twice already,
but since we’re currently buried in a few
feet of snow, I figured it could use another
airing. Hope you enjoy this one …. again.
So far 2026 isn’t going so well! This afternoon I slipped in the bathroom and fractured a rib. If you’ve ever suffered a fractured rib, you know how terribly painful it is. Now I’m home from the hospital, trying to get comfortable and going through my messages. I’ll get to yours eventually …. maybe.
