To Bloom: An Ovi

Written for Ovi Poetry Challenge #94.
This week’s inspiration word is
“learn”. Keeping with the year’s
theme of positivity, this is my Ovi.

To learn is to seek and grow
A journey where brave hearts go
Where seeds of knowledge we sew
That we may bloom

In every question, every doubt
A chance to learn what life’s about
To take it in and let it out
For us to share

The mind is like an artist’s brush
With each new thought we feel the rush
And hear the trilling of the thrush
A fresh beginning

We stumble, fall, and rise again
With every setback, loss or pain
New wisdom shall be ours to gain
And start anew

With each mistake we find our way
Turning dark into light of day
And keep all doubt and fear at bay
As we stand tall

To learn is to live, grow and be
A lifelong journey to be free
To steer our ship across the sea
With sails unfurled

Thanks for the welcome lovely friend, … hoping all is ok with you and yours , … I’m hoping things are on an even keel with Robs health having reached a plateau, ..fingers crossed the panic will subside, …I always run when I’m scared, … (twice now from WordPress,) but it’s always there, the poetry/poem pull, …so we’ll see how things go, … lots of love 💫🤗💫💙💫
