Nancy’s Notes: A Pi-ku is a syllabic form derived from the Haiku. It consists of a single stanza of 3 lines with a syllable count equivalent to the 1st 3 digits of pi (π) 3-1-4.
This is “Morning Has Broken” by Cat Stevens

A lovely pairing of words and picture. A beautiful song, too.

Thanks, Monk! The Pi-ku was such a pleasant surprise …. and a bit more challenging than it looks.

Morning frost melting under the sun, so much quiet change held in so few syllables. The Pi-ku form is such a lovely discovery, and pairing it with Morning Has Broken makes the whole post feel like a gentle sunrise 🌹

Nancy! Your Pi-ku is darling and though this form is micro poetry, you made the most of those 8 syllables!!
