Colour Challenge – “lilac”.

Recently, my 6-year-old granddaughter and I went to the nail salon. In a moment of insanity, I chose a bright yellow polish (think emojis). I’m usually not a yellow person, at least not that yellow, and everyone was surprised. What was I thinking? Summer’s almost over! My granddaughter announced “Grammy! That’s my favorite shade of yellow. Can we trade my lilac nail polish for your yellow?” Of course, I readily agreed. And then she said something that left me speechless: “Good decision. The lilac is much more age-appropriate for you.”
