Come Autumn: A Pi-Ku

Written for Tanka Tuesday. Our host, Melissa,
ask us to write a traditional 3-line Pi-Ku.

golden light
fades
summer drifts on

cool winds blow
geese
wing their way south

Nancy’s Notes: . The Pi-Ku is a tiny three-line poem form derived from the first three digits of π=3.14. Whoever first wrote using this form is a mystery. The Pi-Ku follows the format of three syllables in Line 1, one syllable in Line 2, and four syllables in Line 3.
