Written for Wea’ve Written Weekly.
Our PoW, Michelle, challenges us to
write a tanaga* on “Life & Wisdom”.

Silver hair and eyes grown deep,
Secrets that the scrolls still keep,
Koi glide where the still ponds sleep,
Wisdom’s harvest, his to reap.

Nancy’s Notes: The tanaga is a traditional Filipino poetic form, similar in its brevity and depth to a haiku. It often uses rich metaphor to offer wisdom, advice, or vivid imagery.

This is “Kimio Eto (希望の光A Ray of Hope)” from “Koto Music”
