the moon hogs the view
earth waits its turn in the back
typical little sibling

one fragile blue eye watching
from the dark above

    1. Thanks, Jim. I never really thought about that. I loved watching 2001; I remember when we saw the movie in 1968, we sat very close to the front of the theater. It was incredible, the images and music awesome, almost overwhelming, like a religious experience. It was quite a memorable which I still remember vividly almost 60 years later.

      1. That is odd, because it baffled most audiences and polarized critics with its extremely slow pacing, sparse dialogue, lack of traditional exposition, and an abstract, psychedelic ending that left viewers questioning its meaning.
