Hereβs a pic from 2017 …. happy Montauk summer memories! π
Nine years ago and the kiddos are now 13, 15, & 17 years old.
Where did the time go? π€·πΌββοΈ
I love how two of the kids are still wearing goggles! π
Montauk summers were the best ones ever!

That’s a lovely pic, Nancy. During my two years of graduate studies at SUNY at Stony Brook in 1992/1993, I visited Montauk Point a few times. I was more into Jones Beach and the concert venue there! π

Thanks, Christian. Back in 92/93, Montauk was still a sleepy fishing village with great family restaurants. It was a wonderful place to vacation with kids. There really wasn’t much excitement but that’s exactly why we liked it. The theatre at Jones Beach is still a very popular venue; it’s a lovely place for an evening of listening to music.

Wonderful memories. My summers were spent in Southampton with the yearly drive to Montauk and the lighthouse π

Such a great photo and memory, Nancy. I can remember trying to get ‘floaties’ on the kids when all they wanted to do is get in the water!

They hated those damn floaties! Now our granddaughter is a lifeguard! Thanks, Lois π
