Nothin’ On: A Limerick

Written for Esther’s Laughing Along
With A Limerick
. The prompt word is
‘bills’. Here’s where the prompt took me.

Like two peas in a pod, Nancy and Bill
Lounged in his recliner just for a thrill.
Though Nancy was coy
The remote was Bill’s toy
And he ruled all the channels at will
.

But when Nancy wanted some love,
She donned her soft velvet glove.
She gave Bill a sweet smile,
Purred “Turn me on for a while”,
And Mr. Bill did not need a shove.

  1. You make a very cute couple, and I always like a girl who takes initiative. It can get exhausting always having to make the first move, so it is always refreshing when a woman expresses her interest. I Googled woman has a velvet glove for sex and all that came up were porn videos.

    1. Waiting for the guy to make the first move is so old school and cliched, something I never believed in (although I’m certain my mother would never approve). How boring and selfish! Your velvet glove comment made me laugh; it’s meant here as “as gentle nudge, a soft touch”. We don’t need no stinkin’ porn! 😂
