It wasn’t too terrible, dear Ivor. I have an iPhone and an iPad but I didn’t like blogging on the phone and the iPad is a dinosaur. It’s nice to have a new Mac. 🥰

I’m the same, I just use my iPhone and iPad for replying so comments, and I like to read my followers post/articles on my computer 💻😍

Yes, but also that’s where I do all my writing. I started my blog on a Mac so it’s second nature to me now. At this stage of my life, I’d rather not spend my time learning to navigate my way around a new device. Thanks, dear Ivor. Have a lovely day!

The idea was far worse than the reality. Bought a Mac and had all my data transferred from the old one to the new one. Took 24 hours.

On this one I can say I literally feel your pain. My Dell died in April, and it took two friends and the three of us in three different countries, to get a replacement (a used HP) for it. It took weeks. Hopefully your new Mac will be in your hands much sooner and with much less international drama! Meanwhile, yay! for backups like smart phones. 🙂 Good luck, stay strong… and enjoy the new Mac!
