She lost her dearest friend last night.
Her friend did not die but their precious relationship did. What makes a solid friendship come crashing down like a sandcastle, a friendship we think will test the tides of time and prevail?
The vitriolic words from her friend’s mouth were like a slow-burning poison in her gut. Never had she been so verbally and needlessly attacked. It was shocking; she will never speak with her friend again. Anger of such magnitude reveals a person’s true colors.
What a selfish way to act. What an awful way for a friendship to die.

There are two sides to every story but a friendship dying is terrible especially if it could have been prevented 😣

Not always. When one is a bloodsucking master of deceit, a manipulative user, a Svengali, there’s usually only one side to the story. This friendship would never have been the same again.

Yes, it is painful but I’d rather have that pain instead of being with a serpent with the perceived looks of trusted friend.

Assolutamente! It makes me wonder how many times I was used or stabbed in the back without realizing it and now so many little things that never made sense suddenly start making sense. I don’t need a Judas in my life.

So sad! An unbridled tongue is more harmful than a dagger. Well penned, Nancy!

I’m just wondering about the friend; sick? mentally ill? depressed? Abused?

Selfish, ungrateful, self-possessed, entitled, manipulative and underhanded.

But familiarity breeds contempt. All these old proverbs ring true.
