Frightfully Fanged: A Quadrille

“I Screen You Screen, We All Screen….”
where Lisa, invites us to write a
quadrille using the word “screen”.
Also for Sammi’s “13 Days of Samhain”
and the words “frightfully” & “fanged”.

Fanged shadows stretch
across a misty screen,
as cold winds of autumn howl frightfully
through the barren trees.
The ancient ritual begins again
under a pale, bleeding moon.
Restless souls awaken from
their long eternal sleep,
walking among the living,
seeking comfort in darkness.
