Written for Thursday (AI Art) Inspiration
Today on Thursday (AI Art) Inspiration, Fandango asks us to respond to the challenge, perhaps by writing a story or a poem or just offering our raw reaction as inspired by the AI-created image seen below. OK, kids; here goes!

The city lights begin to glow
Beneath a sea of fading spark
While quiet rhythms softly flow
To answer the approaching dark.
She looks beyond the glass in awe
At constellations bright and clear,
A sprawling world without a flaw
That brings the distant heavens near.
A world away behind the pane,
The glowing screens reflect the sky;
As starlight hums a calm refrain,
The gentle hours wander by.

This is “Starman” by David Bowie
Big thanks to Fandango for bringing us another edition of Thursday Inspiration. Be sure to check out Fan’s site for a plethora of posts (and the occasional rant) on different topics.
Thanks to you all for stopping by for a look and a listen.
That’s all she wrote, kids.
See you on the flip side. 😎

Lovely words and one of my favorite Bowie tunes!❤

Pairing it with David Bowie’s ‘Starman’ takes the whole experience to another level. I had the biggest smile reading the comment thread between Ron’s praise and everyone laughing along with poetisatinta and her ‘Neily Dunn’ moment, it’s such a joyful corner of the blogosphere.

Without a doubt, the greatest benefit for me from being on WordPress is all the fabulous friends I have met. That is an unexpected bonus. A few of these friendships have spilled over into “real life” and that, to me, is amazing. Thanks, Monk.

You are right Nancy. I have found people around the world who thinks with same frequency and talk openly. They are open for discussion and don’t get irritated when they find themselves on some wrong point. The interaction I gather (mostly messages and zoom calls), is truly amazing and I can’t thank them enough for the new found wisdom. 😊

Love the song, and your poem is just the right balance of mystery, and yearning for something more. 🙂

Your quatrain captures the image quite well. I am inspired to learn how to write a quatrain myself.

Thanks very much, Fan. The quatrain is a basic rhyming poem with an ABAB rhyme scheme. Enjoy giving it a go!
