Written for Haiku Fridays with J-Dub
where Jill challenges us to write a
haiku using her image as inspiration.
I’ve gone rogue and used my own image ….
the only orchid I haven’t managed to kill.
I saved Jill’s image for last. Thanks, Jill!

Nice poem Nancy! I had a laugh at ” I haven’t managed to kill” but it is a beautiful one.

It’s true, Max! I have two green thumbs …. and about 10 dead orchids!

haha! Which is why I never even try to grow orchids. I can hear them laugh at me as I walk by them in the store…**hey, lady! how’s your green thumb?!**

Hahaha! Don’t I know it! I hope I didn’t just put the kiss of death on this one by writing about it! I can grow anything but give me an orchid and it’s dead plant walking! 🥀 🪦
