Written for SenHai Saturday where our host
Susi asks us to write a senryu and haiku
using this image as our inspiration.

Haiku
young tree by the path
grass bends away in the wind ….
it stands its own way

Senryu
the stone walkway curves
so no one cuts through the grass ….
but they still will try

I’m enjoy the lovely music/video, I’ve a big at the ‘Football’. My team were playing in the Elimination Final, and we won by a ‘point’ … It’s long day for me … and tiring quickly … I was listening to “Augie March”, so this lovely will do my friend …

Oh my gosh–all these years later and I am still loathe to walk across any grass. “Use the sidewalk–that’s what it’s there for!”

We can’t blame the nuns this time, Lois, but a rule is a rule is a rule. Ya know?
