It was Larry’s birthday, which meant only one thing: huge trouble.

For reasons known only to him, Larry decided he needed a pet monkey to guard his underground safe. He hopped into his pickup truck with a beat-up trailer attached, and drove home from the illegal exotic animal sale with a chimpanzee named Hannibal.

Back at Larry’s place, Hannibal closely watched this strange human as he attempted to carry a shovel and a bag filled with cash to the trailer. Reaching down to grab a sack of peanuts for his new security guard, Larry dropped the bag of cash, but Hannibal was much smarter than Larry and was already eyeing the loot. Flashing a terrifyingly wide human-like grin, Hannibal scooped up the money bag, and locked Larry out of his own trailer.

“Hannibal, no!” Larry yelled as the trailer door slammed shut. “Open this dang door, you mangy monkey!”

Hannibal happily rolled down the window, tossed a peanut to Larry, and took off into the sunset with the cash.
