Nancy’s Notes: Image above shows Star Willow, our grand-puppy. She’s 8 months old, half German Shepherd/half Great Pyrenees Mountain Dog. She is our son, DIL and granddaughter Colette’s doggie and shares the house with their four all-black kitties Galaxy, Midnight, Phantom and Raven.

    My daughter would be over the moon with those kitties. Majestic creatures. Her husband is allergic so she takes care of the feral cat colony in her neighborhood.

  7. Love the Haiku and the picture of Star Willow…although when I see a dog now I start twitching…after this weekend…our puppy count goes from 8 to 3.

    1. Thanks, Max. How old are the pups now …. 8 weeks? Good to know 5 will be going to good homes. No doubt your life will be a lot quieter now. Do you plan to keep any of the pups yourself? One of these days I’ll have to post a pic of our son’s St. Bernard; she’s massive!

      1. Yes! 8 weeks today. We are keeping one, a male. All of our other Saints have been female, so I had to keep this one. I know everyone says this…but not a bad one in the bunch and all are healthy. I think Cosmo (the one we kept) will be massive. He was larger at 4 – 5 weeks than Martha was at 8. Please do post it one day… I love Saints.
