Written for RDP, where Martha asks us
to get creative with the word “voyage”.
Thanks, Martha! Here’s where the prompt took me.

“Ramble On” is a classic 1969 Led Zeppelin track from Led Zeppelin II, co-written by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. Famous for its blend of acoustic verses and hard-rock choruses, the song’s lyrics are heavily inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings”, featuring references to Modor and Gollum. In the song, the singer is on a (metaphorical) voyage, always rambling on, moving on to the next town, looking for a woman, but unable to settle down.
