Written for Cinquain Poetry Prompt #41
where our inspiration is “trip”.
Here’s my mirror cinquain.

Set off
on a grand trip
with sunscreen, snacks and map,
but I turned right instead of left –
now lost,
oh no!
I tripped on roots and over stones,
sun shining in my eyes.
Oh what a sight,
stumbling
along.
Here’s to the trip
that went terribly wrong –
just another misadventure
in life.

Somebody’s got to! I can’t afford to fall and breaking another thing! Can you dig it?
