Written for Sadje’s “What Do You See” #318.
Here’s where the photo prompt took me.

Through cobbled lanes where snowflakes dance and fall
Past golden walls and windows strung with light
The townsfolk wander, bundled one and all
Through old gray streets transformed by winter white
The garlands sway between the ancient eaves
While Christmas trees stand proud in snowy dress
A postcard moment that the heart believes
This quiet magic, winter’s tenderness

Such a Christmasey feel in your thoughts and the accompanying music, Nancy!
