RDP Saturday: blink

Today at RDP, Punam asks us
to get creative with the word ‘blink’.
Thanks, Punam!  Here’s my take.

Whisper And Hush

In the quiet of night, under a pale moon of pink
Twinkling eyes linger with a momentary blink
A second’s blushing connection, a flirtatious wink
Binding two hearts forever by an unspoken link

  1. Gorgeous, is the word, and a classic song by ‘Van’ … my tonight’s post is not about the moon, but twilight time does get a mention … however, exactly 4 years ago, I wrote this Tanka for Coffee House Writers magazine …

In The Blink Of An Eye (a Tanka)

    Tears on my pillow
    Butterflies on the ceiling
    I see silent bells
    Where memories never drown
    And imagination thrives
