RDP Wednesday: shuttle

Today at RDP, sgeiol has asked us to share a story,
poem, photo, painting, essay, etc., focusing
on the word ‘shuttle’. Here’s my take.

When our sons were little boys, we went to Disney World a few times for vacation; I remember we’d take a shuttle from our resort to the theme park. It was so convenient, especially when traveling with young children and all the stuff we’d need during a day in the Magic Kingdom. The shuttle would pick us up right at our resort and take us directly to Disney World; when our day at the park was done, we’d reverse the trip. Instead of having to schlep all our things ourselves, it was done for us and that made our stay infinitely easier.

    1. Thanks, Michele. 😎 It’s the only way to go when you’re traveling with kids. 🚐😎

That’s a fun song by Lindsay Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac; it’s part of the soundtrack of those silly Chevy Chase “National Lampoon Vacation” movies. 😆

    1. It’s such a fun place! We haven’t gone since our boys were teenagers. We have friends who go on Disney cruises at least one a year and another couple who have a Florida condo and are always popping over to Disney. That’s a bit too much Mickey Mouse for me! 😂
