You’re It!

The sun shines bright, a summer day,
Kids in the yard begin to play.
“You’re it!” they cry, with a grin,
The chase begins, the fun within.

They run and play, a happy pack,
No cares or worries holding back.
Just simple joy in sunlit air,
A game of tag, beyond compare.

    1. Thanks for leaving the link, Fan; your earlier post was excellent and I can see why this song means so much to you. Did you ever get a chance to go back to see if the housing development was built? I wonder what the place looks like now. If you’ve never seen the movie called “Living” starring Bill Nighy, I highly recommend it. It’s the story of man who discovers something about himself and decides to dedicates his time to creating a legacy. I don’t want to give away too much but it’s a marvelous movie and it immediately came to mind after reading your first post. Watch it. You won’t regret it.
