Hey, did the Beatles do a version of this song?

No but people thought the Knickerbockers were the Beatles until they discovered they weren’t! They sound a lot like the Beatles and even have Paul’s scream down perfectly. 😂

Yes, and it was an intentional act by the Knickerbockers who deliberately copied the sounds of the British Invasion, particularly the Beatles.

Nice! My brain went in the opposite direction and I started humming “She left in the rain without closing the door,” but of course I flunked because it was too many words!

Thanks, Sis. People say money is the root of all evil. I’m more basic than that; it’s lying. Thanks!

And my MIL always said “some people lie when the truth would serve them better!” It’s an awful habit.

Good for you, Rene! That takes courage and I’m glad you got out of a situation that would only continue to make you miserable. You deserve better, with or without someone.

Ahhh, one of the great songs from the sixties, along with Hey Little Girl by The Syndicate of Sound. You gotta remember that one too.

You know I do, Phil! What a great song; haven’t heard “Hey Little Girl” in forever! “Lies” is excellent and everyone always thought it was a Beatles song. Thanks for the Syndicate of Sound ear worm!

Welcome, now I gave it to myself. My band played that song back when my fingers could take playing my Ric 12 string.
