Prompt #417 using the word ‘boudoir’
in exactly 56 words. This is my story.

There, at a spindle-leg table in the middle of her boudoir sat the most alluring creature imaginable. She sipped a glass of Raleigh Rye, her lacy manteau barely covering her spotless breasts. She wore a hint of a smile and her eyes fluttered in a dream-like state. Sensing his presence, she glanced up, her look inviting.

Thanks, Jodi! I’m fascinated with the brothels in the early 1900s. That image is one of the original working girls from Storyville, LA.

She is alluring. I especially like her dimpled cheek and her cleft chin.
