One day while hunting wooly mammoth, Fred and Barney stumbled upon a mysterious crate filled with boulders of different shapes and sizes. They began banging the stones together in a rhythmic fashion and were fascinated with the sounds.

“Me like-um!” Fred grunted, launching into a frenzied cacophony of hard rock music. Barney joined in with wild drumming on a log. Groupies carved the name “Boulder Dash” on a cave.

People flocked to their concerts, partying like it was 19,999 BC. Little did Barney and Fred know they had invented Rock & Roll, forever changing the soundtrack of the Stone Age!

  1. Hello – this was a fun piece you gave us and I had to laugh with the “partying like it was 19,999 BC” – oh and enjoyed the Kinks song – it was new for me – and had a fun beat
