Sharon reluctantly realized that the only way to salvage her relationship with Arthur would be to….

confide in him.

“Richard was here.”

“Richard’s always here, Sharon; he’s your roommate Cathy’s boyfriend! Why would I care?”

“Because he wasn’t with Cathy; he was with me.”

“Oh. So we’re breaking up, Sharon?”

“Well, yes, but do you have to be so damn cavalier about it!”

“It’s not like we were exclusive, Sharon.”

“But you don’t seem bothered at all!”

“I’m not! Cathy and I have been lovers for months!”

“Wow! What a dick!”

“Hahaha! That’s what Cathy said!”
