Poem

To Fly

Written for Eugi’s Moonwashed Weekly Prompt,
I have chosen her prompt ‘reach for infinity’.

In the whispering forest’s core,
Stars dance,
silent and bright,
Leaves murmur secrets evermore,
Night reaches for infinite height.

Mountains stand tall,
watching skies,
Streams carve paths through stone,
Eternal echoes,
nature’s cries,
Solitude,
where dreams are sown.

Oceans hum ancient tales of yore,
Waves kiss the endless shore,
With every crest and fall they implore,
To seek beyond and explore.

The wind’s breath whispers ‘Fly’,
Trees stretch towards the unseen sky,
Together we’ll reach infinity high,
and never question why.
