Squinting and squeamish, I try to decipher the anagram:
“I’M BRIAN”.
Haha! Now I know! It’s where I spend most of my time:
“MINIBAR”!

  1. Mini Bar and drinking alone, I know about those subjects. I was in California some years back, checking on some modular buildings being installed for the Forest Service, way up in Susanville and the Sasquatch mountains. The retro motel had those little mini-bar refrigerators in the rooms. It was rainy and cold, so I got a few beers from the little fellow. When I checked out the next day, my bill showed $25.00 bucks for two beers. That’s what I got for drinking alone.

    1. Holy Rheingold! You would have been better off calling for room service!
We had an event with a mini fridge in one of the casinos in CT. In this case we should have read the fine print. There was a fee incurred for each time the fridge was opened, so even if we didn’t buy anything, we were charged for a look-see. I call that a bait and switch. Whenever the housekeeper came in our room, which was twice a day, she restocked the fridge with new goodies. Wasn’t it enough we were already feeding the slot machines?

      1. I haven’t encountered the little monsters in many years, but thanks to my two young sons, when we visited Disneyland in CA back in 91, the Disney hotel charged us a buttload of money, all for soft drinks. We thought it was all free. Lesson learned, sort of. I don’t gamble no more. I spent two years in Vegas building a project and I soon found out that I shouldn’t go in those places.
