Now What?

Apologies if you are not hearing from me personally. I am having problems commenting on many blogger’s posts. I’m sure I’m not alone in this as other’s have remarked similarly. This is a real inconvenience and I’m sorry. I hope it gets rectified quickly. If you can, leave a comment. If I am allowed to respond, I will. I feel like I’m in that movie, Marooned! πŸ˜…

  1. I’ve been having problems too Nancy. I pick up a post from a pingback, then go to comment and the screen just stalls. Then when I try to reset it, it asks if I want to leave the page! If I go through the reader, I;m usually OK. I wish they’d leave things alone!

  2. I’ve been finding this too, for the past couple of days. I can read posts perfectly well on the web as usual, but when I try to comment the screen just stares blankly at me. But I have found a workaround: go to the Reader, which is where I am now, and I’m allowed to comment.

    Weird, or what?

    1. Great info, Clive! I’ll try that. I’ve been keeping a list of people whose posts I cannot comment on so I can check back periodically and see if there’s any change. I’ve contacted WordPress but, of course, haven’t gotten an answer. The least they could do is acknowledge the problem. One of the things we value is the ability to communicate with fellow bloggers. WP needs to fix the things that are broken and stop making unnecessary and unwanted changes to their format. This is unacceptable.

    1. They’re growing resentment! One of the most important features of WordPress is the ability to communicate with fellow bloggers. Whatever is going on is unacceptable. The least they could do is address the problem and let us know they’re working on it.
