Quadrille Monday – #216
where today’s prompt word
is “hint”. Here is my quadrille.

The sun through my
kitchen window
was beaming like a
supernova.
There was no wind,
not even the
slightest breeze.
I thought I might
go blind but I
could not
look away.
On this frigid
January day
I saw a fleeting
hint of
summer.

There’s something nice about a bright sunny day even if it’s winter out. I always say, it can’t be cold if the sun’s shining. 🙂

No shoes could only afford one pair….living in the back of beyond in Devon…. Missing London and my friends… I can see us now 💜💜

Thanks, Mish …. and for the prompt as well. I got my inspiration for the title from the song.
A little summer sun would be so welcome right now 🌞

That light, shining through a winter window, the cat curled up but moving from sunspot to sunspot as the day grows long. Such a happy thought!

A very nice quadrille Nancy. It brought back memories of my youth as a crossing guard, weird huh. And love the video choice.
