Welcome to Birthday Thursdays! Each week I will feature someone from the world of music whose birthday falls on this day. There won’t be any chit chat from me, no facts and figures – just some great tunes (and an occasional surprise). Check it out right here every Thursday and enjoy the music.

Lovely tunes, Nancy! Ebb Tide is superb.👍

“C’mon and Swim” 🤣 New to me, too. And that video? All those stiff white teens…Uffda! Where are Frankie and Annette?
A lot of fun, nonetheless.😉

I knew Do You Wanna Dance and Ebb Tide and I really like both of them, but C’mon And Swim was new to me, or perhaps I just forgot it.

Then I forgot, too. Was new for me.

Here’s another I didn’t know by name but recognized the tunes. Watching that third video… everyone was so slim back in the day. He was positively skinny.
I think Imma start dancing daily 😉

No lie! Back in the early 80s I was heavy into dance aerobics and was the thinnest I’d ever been since my teen days. It was brutal on my knees, though, but damn …. I looked good back then!
Do the Hustle! 🕺🏻

Oh man… BK, this bod of mine was ROCKIN’. How brutal can dancing be on the knees? Forget the class part where they make you hop around more than necessary… I’m sure we can find a happy medium…
Too too too too too too to to to to to

Right?! Damn kids! I was huge during my pregnancies.
Dance aerobics is not for wimps. Take no prisoners! I never had so much energy. Normal dancing is great for the bod but at this point I’d have to start off with a nice slow waltz! 😂

Damn them. I can’t really say anything. What is it about the shorter lasses taking on more poundage than the tall ones. I have friends, 5’3″ and less who put on 50-60 pounds. Me? The most I took was for my 9-lb lard-arse – 28 lbs in all.
There is that. I remember those dayz.

Sigh. Another disadvantage of being short.

It’s just so weird to me. I never could understand it! 28, 25 and 18 (he was a preemie, though).

65 for me. 🤯 Back then most drs didn’t give us a hard time about weight. Took 6 months to lose it! My neighbor is one of those skinny bitches who never even showed during her pregs and was back in her leggings and sports bras the next week. I wanna ‘scream eat an Oreo, goddammit!‘ 🙄

😧 It’s true that they didn’t. You’re lucky. Some women it takes more than six months!
I had a skinny-ass bitch neighbour that you only knew she was pregnant when she turned around. Coz from the back? You wouldn’t know it!
Hahahaha! Fucking Oreos.

Yanno… during our on-line date yesterday, Marc ate an Oreo in my face… I don’t even have any cookie of any sort in the house. I hate when healthy me does the grocery shopping.

Except for my mini Häagen Dazs coffee ice cream in the evening, I am not a snacky person. Salsa on rice cakes is damn good, though, and pretty healthy too. Love me some salsa!

I have jars and jars of salsa 😉 But sometimes, you just want a cookie!

One is all I can handle … very sweet. Colette would disagree. 😂

Hahaha! It’s funny. My sweet tooth is well-hidden. I’m more of a salty kinda gal 😉 However, now and again, a little somethin’ sweet is what I want and will not be satisfied until I do.

I hear ya, sis, and many times after eating something salty, I crave sweet … or the other way around …. and soda doesn’t cut it. I need that crunchy mastication action! I said MASTICATION! Hahaha!!! A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.

Which is why those salty-sweet treats are so damn popular.
