Lovin’ From The Oven

Written for Weekend Writing Prompt #357
using the word “temperature” in exactly 37 words.

Oven temperature set for 425ºF.

Brush turkey liberally with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt and drape bird with bacon strips. Place in oven and go watch the Macy’s Parade.

Return to heavenly, scrumptious golden-brown deliciousness.

        I invited myself to my sister’s tomorrow 😀 But, I think I heard something about smoked meat.

      If I were cooking today, the menu would be homemade manicotti to start followed by grilled baby New Zealand lamb chops, asparagus and butternut squash.

      I’m not cooking today so it’s anyone’s guess. 😂

  1. Ohhhh that looks so good I can practically smell it! I baked Cornish Game Hens this time…I hope they’re good…as I get older I seem to be losing confidence in my reputation for being a pretty fine cook.
