get creative with the word “adventure” in exactly 76 words.
This is my response to that word challenge.
You ever have that feeling you get when you meet someone for the first time …. and you know?
That’s what happened to me when I first met Bill …. almost 56 years ago to the day. It was our first date, the dreaded blind date, but we had chemistry and we still do.
Sure, we’ve had our misunderstandings …. who hasn’t? …. but what an adventure our life has been.
He’s the fisherman but I caught a keeper!

Lovely! We’ve many parallels! I met Mick on a blind date (Telepersonals!) and he was an avid fisherman :) He was my good catch, too.

That’s amazing, Dale! The date was actually set up for me and Bill’s identical twin who bailed at the last minute. Bill stepped in and took his place; the greatest decision his brother ever made! 😂

That’s too funny. Back in1995, before regular folk had the Internets, we had the telephone. And my friend convinced me to sign up. The rest, as they say, is history. We went on one date and he never left!

It never would have worked with the twin. Their taste in women is totally different. He wanted someone to run the show and take charge; Bill wanted a partner and so did I.
When it’s the right guy, one date is all you need!
