Tom has invited us to participate in this
Mansionic Pioneer Poem prompt.
Happy to do so, Tom!
The first words of each line are the rhyming words.
Each line must be 5 syllables or less.
The last two lines of the poem are the same
as the first two lines, only written in reverse.
Here’s my poem.

Twinkling silver lights
Sprinkling snowflake frost
Making-merry time
Baking gingerbread
Jolly Christmas morn
Holly wreaths and boughs
Ringing jingling bells
Tingling frozen toes
Gifts all gaily wrapped
Drifts of silent snow
Boys with trucks and trains
Toys and games for all
Girls with princess dolls
Swirls of petticoats
Tummy full of sweets
Yummy popcorn balls
Kittens in the tree
Mittens with white fur
Cups of hot cocoa
Pups nipping ankles
Shimmering lip gloss
Simmering spiced tea
Sβmores by the fireplace
Doors with big red bows
Glowing candlelight
Blowing wintry winds
Sprinkling snowflake frost
Twinkling silver lights

I can see the snow falling through the large window, whilst the sound of jingle bells outside seems to echo in the distance. A very jovial, festive Pioneer Poem, Nancy. Thank you for taking part! π

This was so much fun, Tom, and I was thinking of you as I wrote it; you’re the one who introduced me to the art of Pioneer poetry, after all! The graphic I found set the stage for the poem; I’m so glad you felt the spirit of Christmas. I certainly did! π

They are fun poems, Nancy. I may do one more prompt before year end, and then leave it be!
And it’s always nice to feel the spirit of Christmas. π

Destiny, I do not lend my work; it is copyright and not for use by anyone, even with permission. Your alternative is to re-blog my post with my copyright but you may not cut and paste. I’m sorry but the answer to “borrowing” my work is “no”.

No worries, Destiny. I’ve had a couple of very strange comments today from unknown people; we can never be too careful! Thanks for your comment.
