There was endless “lesbian” speculation.

The writers called their weekend cottage “Intermission” – tres cool!

Idiots foolishly obsessed over the whole gay thing.

“Who gives a fuck?” I argued. “They’re authors!”

“Says the storyteller!” the idiots jibed.

  3. Nancy, you do tend to find some great songs from some of my favourite singer/songwriters. This one being one. I’ve been following Elvis Costello’s (Declan McManus) career from the very beginning, when his aim was true 🙂

    1. Thanks so much, Glyn. I try my best but I love it when someone comes along with an even better song. I can always count on my friend Ivor to do that!
      I love the way you put that …. “when his aim was true”! 😁
      I’ve become a fan of his wife lately, Diane Krall …. quite the sultry songbird.
