The Rhythm Section

Welcome to “The Rhythm Section”, a new site shared between The Sicilian Storyteller in the U.S.A., Mr. Bump in the U.K. and DA Whittam in Australia. We are here to entertain you with great music videos, give you some super interesting information, exchange thoughts and comments about music but mostly we just want to have fun.

As you follow our new site you’ll see us take turns posting about themes of great interest to us individually and as a team. And as a little bonus feature, we will invite you to play along by tackling our question of the day at the end of each post.

Today I’m kicking things off with a very cool category – “At The Movies”. As you can undoubtedly guess by the name, this is all about songs from hit movies (and possibly a few bombs as well!) and let me tell you…

    1. D, try viewing it in the reader section on your own site; it shows all the people/posts your following. Do you see the option to follow The Rhythm Section?

If this doesn’t work, I can only suggest contacting WP to ask them why you can’t follow the site. It’s a blog-standard site set up on wordpress.com, hosted by wordpress.com etc.

      Hope that helps!

      1. WP actually randomly unsubscribes me from blogs I follow all the time. Started about 18 months ago. I just add my favorites to their list feature. So far, everyone I was able to add is always there. (I added you, no problem.) There are a few sites it never let me add. I have no idea what the designers are doing behind the scenes.

  1. I tried to reply to the Rhythm Section post, but it tells me I need to log in to reply, even though I am logged in on my iPhone but when I try to log in again, it keeps telling me over and over that I need to log in to reply. Anyway, all I wanted to say was “Sean Connery.”

          1. I have those issues on WP often. I wish I knew how to fix it. I had to log in to comment, too, but WP let me today. (It doesn’t always. Then again, I’m not on my phone.)

          2. I think if you have your settings such that “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” is the problem…at least for me on my iPhone. I’ve been battling with WordPress since November 2020 on what I call a bug and what they call an enhancement. 😡

            1. When the site opens at your browser and prompts you to log in try reloading the page; you should be then logged in ad Fandango.
( at least this works for me)
