Written for Esther’s Laughing Along
With A Limerick. The prompt words are
‘prince’ and ‘clean’. This is my limerick.

A charming young heir known as Prince
Had skin that would make a peach wince
He stayed very clean
The brightest they’d seen
And hasn’t had dirt on him since
He scrubbed every day with such pride
With nowhere for smudges to hide
A royal at birth
He loathed all the dirt
And stayed strictly pampered inside

Do you think the Prince would mind if the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker joined him in the tub?
