Today is March 4th, Marching Music Day.
I’m very proud of all the activities our three teenage grandkids are involved in, including their school’s Marching Band. Here are Mckenna (17) and Lucan (15). Wyatt (13) was behind the camera! Mckenna plays the baritone sax and both boys play trumpet. When it’s practice time, the house gets real noisy!
Way to go, kids! Keep enjoying your school activities and making us proud. 🤩

Enjoy some marching music by the great John Philip Sousa.
Everything on The Elephant’s Trunk was created by me, unless otherwise indicated. Thanks for your consideration. NAR©2017-present.

I don’t think I would have said this back then, but I was really glad to be in the band! Wonderful to see your grandkids so happy!

I know exactly what you mean, Christine. It was considered “dorky” back then. I’m really glad that that’s not the way it is now. Thank you.

Yes! For sure.

Always wanted to play a saxophone, but like the clarinet, I couldn’t get a squeak out of it.

Honestly, Di …. I don’t know how my granddaughter does it. The baritone sex is huge and she’s the only bari sax player in the whole band.

I agree with you, Lois. We are very fortunate; our son and his wife are doing a bang up job in this parenting game. Thanks very much, cara amica.
