Written for MLMM Monday Wordle.
Here’s where the prompts took me.
prism, dance, color, shadow, fingers, drift,
seek, marvel, snuggle, story, sigh, and cheek

Every night, after little Ciara pressed her rosy cheek against her pillow and began to snuggle deeper into her dreams, something magical happened.
The ballerina inside the snow globe would sigh softly, and the crystal world around her would shimmer. Snowflakes began to drift upward instead of down. A prism of moonlight caught the glass globe, scattering every color of the rainbow across the bedroom walls.
Then she would dance.
Her tiny feet spun across the miniature stage while her shadow stretched tall against Ciara’s wallpaper, twisting and leaping like something wild and free. She would seek the edges of her glass world, marvel at the innocence of the sleeping child beyond it, and run her delicate fingers along the curved interior like pages of a beloved story.
By dawn, she settled back into stillness …. patient, peaceful, and waiting for tomorrow night.
