explain ~ coat ~ lock
The winter chill cannot explain
My dashed and frozen hope
I turn the lock against the rain
And huddle in my coat
I’ve lost my one and only love
His fire burns no more
My jealous words the final shove
That pushed him out the door
Now he’s in another’s arms
My ears still ringing from his jeers
He’s tasting all her loving charms
And I cannot stop my tears

Operation was big and today I’m in a lot of pain which is to be expected. Thanks for asking. A little time on WP is a nice diversion.
