June 10, 1973, 1st Wedding Anniversary

Just one look, and that was it. I was a goner.
You lit a spark in me like no man ever could.
You made me feel like I was being consumed and I loved it. Still do.
You set my mind reeling and got my body burning.
And what’s amazing about this relationship of ours?
I got to you the same way from the moment we met. I still do.
We have that spark, that magic touch.
And to think it all started on a blind date back in 1968!
Whoever says there’s no such thing as love at first sight has never been there.

I can’t make out what you are holding in your hand, but it looks like the bottom of an ice cream cone.

That’s exactly what it is! There was a little ice cream left and the cone had begun dripping from the bottom onto my fingers.
