RDP Thursday: snarl

Written for RDP, where bushboy asks us
to get creative with the word “snarl”.
Thanks, Brian! Here’s my take.

At 7:30AM I’ll be heading out for a nerve block procedure in my neck. I’ve had it done before and while it’s not terribly painful, it is very uncomfortable. It only take about half an hour and the doctor encourages normal activity once I get home, along with periods of rest to apply ice to my neck. Guaranteed I will grimace and snarl at the doctor when he comes at me with his long needles. I think he gets a perverted kind of pleasure from wielding those awful things.

  1. I read that a nerve block procedure in the neck is used to alleviate chronic or acute pain stemming from pinched nerves, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or facet joint arthritis. I hope your procedure goes well, Nancy.
