RDP Thursday: alluring

Written for RDP, where bushboy asks us
 to get creative with the word “alluring”.
Thanks, Brian! Here’s my take.

She’s spent the entire afternoon perfecting her look, draping herself in her finest gold necklaces and positioning herself just so in the warm afternoon sun. The perfume …. something mysterious with notes of catnip and salmon …. sits ready on the vanity, though she’s secretly wondering if her natural pheromones might be doing most of the heavy work. She practices her most alluring gaze in the mirror, those amber eyes saying “I’m sophisticated, I’m bewitching, and yes, I’m hairless …. it’s called fashion, darling.” Her date doesn’t stand a chance.
