our inspiration word is “gift”. This is my cinquain.
Eastern
star of wonder
shines brightly overhead.
The dark night sky’s shimmering gift
to man.
Bright ray
shining, twinkling, leading the way
to the sweet baby boy.
Three magi bow
adore
bestow
gifts for a king
gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Young mother looks on serenely
in awe.
