Soup Is Good Food
It was two years ago and I was preparing lunch for our then 3-year-old granddaughter …. Tom & Cheese (tomato soup & grilled cheese for the purists in the crowd). I told her she could choose between Ruffles potato chips or Cheese Doodles. She looked up at me and announced quite seriously “Cheese Doodles,Grammy … then all my food will be orange! Besides, I only like the ‘unruffled’ potato chips.” It took all my self-control to keep a straight face.
