RDP Thursday: gift

 to get creative with the word ‘gift’.
Thanks Brian! Here’s my take.

Merry Christmas dear friends! Bill and I gave each other the same gift this year: bad colds with coughing and body aches! Halfway through Christmas Eve, Bill started feeling off; we left early and by the time he got himself settled in his recliner, he was sick as the proverbial dog. I woke up this morning with a head cold and sore throat. I immediately took Alka Seltzer Cough & Cold which cleared my head for the moment, but all our plans for today and Saturday in NYC have been put on hold. C’est la vie! As the saying goes: Make plans and God laughs. Germs …. the gift that keeps on giving.
