Written for Esther’s “Can You Tell A Story In” – #311
exactly 46 words using these four prompt words:
‘portal’, ‘drool’, ‘slippers’, and ‘marksman’.
Here’s my flash in exactly 46 words.

Harold, the commoner, loved the princess so much – from her crown to her royal slippers – he could almost drool! The princess wasn’t interested. Serendipitously, a wee marksman flew through a magic portal and jabbed the princess with love arrows. She fell madly in love with Harold!

Me too, Ange … a sweet song from the lovely Sam Cooke. We need millions of Cupids dispatched throughout the world, flinging their arrows and creating a global love fest. Sounds like a plan, eh?
