Here’s where the photo prompt took me.
Little Peggy was told to stay in her room while her parents entertained guests downstairs. Curiosity got the best of her, and she crept out to peek. To her horror, she realized the people she knew all her life were actually aliens! Everyone was partying in the living room, drinking cocktails, eating hors d’oeuvres, and even dancing. Peggy was terrified and wondered if her parents might be aliens, too! Heart pounding, she quickly ran back to her room, jumped into bed, and pulled the covers tightly over her head.

Those aliens all have such nice figures, so I guess life on Earth agrees with them and they are not planning on leaving any time soon.

Great segue: not only does she find out her parents are aliens, she realizes her whole life has been a lie when it’s revealed she’s adopted!
